Some documents (like wills and powers of attorney) have special execution requirements such as witnesses or notarization; Quill tells you exactly what is needed for each one.

Electronic signatures collected through Quill comply with the U.S. ESIGN Act and UETA: each signer consents to sign electronically and we record a full audit trail (identity email, timestamp, IP address) in a certificate attached to the executed PDF. Note that a few document types — like wills — must still be signed on paper with witnesses.
