Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Quill (docs.oodac.com) is operated by OODAC Technologies LLC (“we,” “us”). Quill provides self-help software for creating, editing, sharing, and electronically signing legal documents. By using Quill you agree to these Terms.

2. Not a law firm

Quill is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, and is not a substitute for a licensed attorney. Documents and AI-generated suggestions are general information produced at your direction. No attorney–client relationship is created. Laws vary by jurisdiction; you are responsible for ensuring a document fits your situation, and we encourage review by a licensed attorney for significant matters.

3. Your account

You sign in with Google or an emailed link — no passwords are stored. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your email secure. You may close your account at any time by contacting quill@oodac.com.

4. Your documents

You own the documents you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to store, render, export, and transmit them at your direction (for example, emailing a signing link to a signer you designate). We do not sell your documents or train our own AI models on them. Requested AI features send relevant content to the provider identified in our Privacy Policy.

5. Electronic signatures

Quill records affirmative electronic consent and a signing activity trail. These records support evidence of agreement; they do not by themselves establish enforceability or verified identity. You are responsible for confirming e-signature is legally sufficient for your document type and jurisdiction — some documents (e.g., wills) require ink signatures, witnesses, or notarization, as noted in the product.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use Quill to break the law, infringe the rights of others, create fraudulent or deceptive documents, send spam, probe or disrupt the service, or attempt unauthorized access. We may suspend accounts that violate these Terms.

7. Fees & fair use

Current prices and included allowances appear on the pricing page and before checkout. Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled through billing; cancellation takes effect as shown in the billing portal. Taxes, if applicable, are shown at checkout. Contact quill@oodac.com for billing disputes or refund requests. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.

Document credits are consumed when a completed document is generated or imported. Deleting a document does not restore its credit. Saved interview drafts are capped at 20 per account. AI and signature allowances are enforced separately; the account screen shows your usage. Previously created documents remain accessible after a plan downgrade. We may limit automated, shared-account, resale, or abusive usage to protect service availability.

New Free accounts include one document, five standard AI actions and one signature request for the lifetime of the account. Each single-document purchase adds one document credit, ten standard AI actions and three signature requests. These one-time allowances do not renew each month. Paid subscription AI and signing limits reset by calendar month in UTC; daily limits reset at midnight UTC. Each paid plan is for one person, without team seats. An import analysis consumes five standard AI actions. Full refunds and unresolved payment disputes remove the corresponding future purchase allowances; previously created documents are preserved. Partial refunds retain the bundle.

8. Disclaimers & liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR THAT ANY DOCUMENT MEETS YOUR LEGAL NEEDS. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF $100 OR THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US IN THE PRIOR 12 MONTHS, AND WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.

9. Changes; governing law

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Contact: quill@oodac.com.
